On the 15th of September the most gorgeous buckskin colt was born to our beautiful TB mare Stella. Although his birth was a horrific experience, we are delighted to have little Les. This super colt has a big blaze and one and a half white socks. He will mature galloway. His colour and markings will really make him “stand out in the crowd”.

Kinlieth Primadonna x Rathowen True Blue (Courtland Boy Blue x Rathowen Russet) – Foaled on the 10th October a stunning dark bay colt with a blaze and hind sock. To mature large pony or small galloway. This colt has exceeded all our expectations for his new owner Danielle Cuijpers, with Supreme of Supreme and State titles under his belt. We think this pony will be an amazing prospect under saddle and further in hand.

Glyndebourne Morticia x Rotherwood Peter Pan AI (Westacre Concerto x Katie’s Dream) – On the 11th of October, Tish foaled a an exquisite bay filly (being the 2nd filly born in Australia by Peter Pan) with just a half moon star. To mature about 13-13.1hh. This filly has the most accentuated head and we couldn’t be happier with her. Sadly we laid Katie to rest after a paddock accident.

We expect huge things from this filly and hopefully she will follow in the footsteps of her two older sisters, who are both Royal Show Champions.

Philadelphia (Delphie) is a beautiful chestnut filly out of the well performed Arabian mare Noran Carolina. She was born late on the 16th October and should mature large galloway. She has the prettiest head and lovely white head marking. We couldn’t have been more delighted with this foal. This filly will not be sold as she is a replacement for Sarah as Carolina, who Sarah has had a massive affinity with.

On the 31st of October at about 2.00pm Dancing Queen gave birth to the most magnificent dark chestnut colt. He is out of the Royal Melbourne winning mare Blandford Dancing Queen. We are absolutely delighted with this addition. He had the loveliest dishy head with a big white star and the longest length of rein I have seen on a foal and he can move like to wind!!! We expect this colt to mature around 13.2hh.

He has an exceptional front and the most breathtaking movement.

Zoe is the most beautiful pony to have around. She is a bright chestnut filly who should mature between 13.2-13.3hh. Zoe has an exceptional front just like her mother and stunning movement.
Zoe has exceeded all our expectations and we wish Jade O’Brien to best of luck with her in her future showing career. Zoe should make her showring debut under saddle in 2010 with Jade in the saddle and we can not wish them both the very best of luck this season. Already very accomplished under saddle, we can not wait to see what she is capable of with the saddle on

No words can describe how the stud is coming to terms with the loss of our beautiful and precious girl, Katie. Taken far too soon from us on the 20th December 2009 from a paddock accident, that with all the effort in the world, we could not have saved her from. Katie was more than special. She was the the culmination of years of research and breeding to produce the ultimate RP for out stud. We never had any intention of ever parting with this beautiful pony, her place was set in stone. This two year old filly was so close to realizing her full potential. Just six months of breaking in and then I am sure a highly decorated ridden career. 2009 seems to be a very low year for the stud and 2010 MUST get better, because the loss of this beautiful pony has certainly tested our faith and resilience in this sport and hobby.
RIP Katie – never to be given the chance to shine. Why is it always the best taken too soon.

The stud had been highly fortunate to be able to obtain Becky back into our stud as our small broodmare. Becky is a 12.2 3/4hh Bay FS1 Welsh B and Riding Pony Mare. Her breeding is the foundation of the stud and we couldn’t be luckier to have met Karen and Kyra Johnston who have owned Becky for the last couple of years and have had huge success with her. Becky was sold as yearling by the stud; little did we know this cross would become impossible to do again due to Pendragons infertility. Becky has just produced a magnificent colt by Rhoson Gaugin (imp) for Karen. Becky has a positive preg test to Fairlight Acres Riverdance (palomino Riding Pony) and will due early January. Fingers crossed for a Palomino or Buckskin Filly. Sadly we lost Becky to a rare medical condition on the 23rd October 2007. She was 8 months in foal.

Stella is a stunning bright red bay five year old thoroughbred mare standing at just 15.1hh. She has four perfect white socks and a wide blaze. She is also a wonderful mover and has the most adorable temperament. After a rather uneventful racing career, she was retired and put on the market. She will be ridden this season and then she will go to stud for a 2008 foal. We can’t express how lucky we feel to have got this mare as she truly is the most divine natured horse we have ever owned. It’s hard to believe she is a thoroughbred at all!! Stella foaled a lovely buckskin colt on the 15th of September. Sadly we lost Stella in August. Her injuries sustained during birth were just too great to repair despite our bets efforts. She will be sadly missed and totally irreplaceable.
