Are you looking for that special horse to emulate the feats of David O’Connor’s great horse “Custom Made” and to boot has similar bloodlines in his genetics? ” Eagle Surprise” is a light/Middle Weight Bay Gelding rising 6 yrs, with three white socks and has recently competed in his first few 1 Day Eventing events where he was placed 6th, 5th and 2nd in the Dressage Phase, had a excellent cross-country phase without adding any extra penalties and did very well in the show jumping section for a novice, out of 27, 24 and 17 competitors.
Eagle Surprise has enormous potential and loves this type of work. He has a fabulous “toe” movement and his temperament is also very good. As a young horse from a foal through to being a three year-old, he won many in-hand showing classes, was show champion and reserve champion many times and he also qualified at first time of asking for all major All-Ireland young horse championships i.e. Red Mills 2 yr old, Galway Crystal 3yr old etc. etc.
College, work and family commitments for the new 18 months mean that I (rather sadly) have no option but to find a new owner for this horse. Someone out there must have the commitment and dedication to bring the very best out of this exceptionally talented horse who needs to be carefully brought on to maximize his full potential just like what’s been done up to now.
