(pictured Claudio, sire of Cassius V)
Cassius is a tall good looking stallion who is very light on his feet and is showing outstanding show jumping ability. He has an excellent temperament in both his stable and in his work and is a definite Grand Prix prospect.

Cassius descends from an excellent Holstein mother line (stamm 2067), the well-respected mare line created by one of Holstein’s best breeders, Reimer Witt.

Cassius’s half brother by Clearway has recently been awarded the highest jumping index points at a stallion contest in Germany and his owners have turned down a substantial sum offered to them by Paul Schockemohle. Cassius is most certainly one for the future.

SIRE:- Claudio 173cm 1991 Holstein
Claudio is sired by Olympic stallion Carthago Z who represented Holland in 1996 and Belgium in 2000 with Jos Lansik. Together Carthargo Z and Jos Lansik also competed in numerous nation cup competitions and grand prix competitions. He is one of the most successful ever Capitol 1 sons and now has several approved sons himself from a very short breeding period due to being withdrawn in 2000 due to infertility. For this reason and the successes of his progeny make Carthargo blood highly sought after.

Carthago Z is the son of Capitol I, one of the great modern Holsteiner showjumping sires. Unusually for a Holstein jumping sire, Capitol carried no Cor de la Bryère blood, but he was richly endowed with the heritage of two great Thoroughbred descendants of the Bay Ronald line – Cottage Son xx and Manometer xx, he also carried a double cross of the influential anglo-arab, Ramzes. Capitol I sired Cassini, Campione (and full brother, Cathleen, ridden by Meredith Michaels – now Beerbaum), Calato Z, Curtis (Mändli), Cliquot (Kirchof). With an index of 182 he head the FN young jumping stallion ratings.

Folia’s dam, Vase, was a full sister to Romanus who competed with success with Hans Günter Winkler, despite the horse’s aversion to water jumps.

The dam sire, Calando I was popular breeding stallion, and stood at numerous studs representing the Holstein stud book. While a popular breeding stallion, Calando I was also successful in the showjumping arena, with victories including the German Championship with Karsten Huck

Cassius V`s grand sire is Carthago Z and he has an impressive record as a breeding stallion, progeny of Carthago Z, offspring include Olympic jumping horse Cim Christo competed by Bong Gak Sohn, Alois PollmannSchweckhorst international showjumper Cristallo, Kira II with Belgium rider Ludo Philippaerts and many many others.

Claudio has himself many victories at Grand Prix level under Bo Kristofferson and his offspring are already starting to show potential at the higher levels, including Claudio’s daughter Cezanne who has been a winner at grand prix level with Dario Agosta, as has his stallion son Contino under the saddle of Gustavo Arroyo. Claudio also has the well known approved son, Claudios Son.

DAM:- Outshine170cm 2002 Holstein
Outshine is a lovely looking mare with enormous power and scope. Her stallion son by Clearway has recently been awarded the highest jumping index points at a stallion contest in Germany and his owners have turned down a substantial sum offered to them by Paul Schockemohle.

The sire of Outshine is Baldini I who showed himself off with style at the Medingen stallion performance show, his tremendous jumping technique he showed at the performance test would stay with him throughout his jumping career, as he would go through the classes winning along the way. Among the progeny of Baldini I, is the part bre arabian stallion Bachus Z, who stood at Zangersheide stud and competed by Jos Lansink. Baldini has produced an impressive number of jumpers currently in international competition: Backgammon with M. Haunhorst, Baldessarini with Petra Janic, Balthus with Alvaro Zambrano, Calzado, Boritas with Lars Bak Andersen & Comtesse III with Giulia Martinengo Parquet.

The Grand dam Dalome has produced the approved stallions Calwahn and Rando.. The Great grand dam Salome also produced the approved son Sympathico and the well known approved stallion Eurocommerce Canturano.
